1 bag of Mama Lycha Guava
1 box of vanilla cake
3 eggs
1 cup of water
2 cups of sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
2 aniseed stars
2 cloves
Powdered Sugar for garnish
Start by making the cake mixture in a large bowl. Add the vanilla cake flour, water and eggs. Stir well until everything is well incorporated.
Pour a little oil into a baking pan, add the cake mixture and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
In a separate saucepan, add the guava pulp, two cinnamon sticks, aniseed, cloves and water. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
Cut the rest of the guavas into very small pieces and put them in a saucepan with the sugar and syrup to make a marmalade.
Cut the cake in half and spread the guava marmalade on the bottom, then place the other half of the cake on top.
Decorate the cake with some powdered sugar and guava slices.
