- 125 Mama Lycha jocotes
- 2 liters of water
- 1 Mama Lycha panela or piloncillo
- Cinnamon to taste
- Honey to taste
- Bring the water to a boil and when it is hot enough, add the jocotes.
- When you see that the jocotes are already cracked, take them out of the water and carefully remove the peel. Then cut them crosswise without removing the seeds.
- In a pot put the water with the panela or piloncillo and the cinnamon over low heat. Also, add the peeled jocotes.
- Let them cook for one hour and add the honey to serve.
This is the ideal dessert to share right after lunchtime, it is healthy
and delicious.
