Mama Lycha Chiquiador Cookies (Lady Fingers)
1 package vanilla cake
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup vegetable oil
1-quart whipping cream
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Strawberries for garnish
In a mixer, combine the following ingredients: cake flour, 3 eggs and half a cup of oil. Mix well until you have a homogeneous dough.
Divide the mixture into 2 containers and bake in the oven at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until you see it is ready.
Make the frosting using an entire bottle of whipping cream, a cup of powdered sugar, and some pure vanilla. Blend everything together in a mixer until you have a thick cream.
Assemble the cake by putting a layer of cake, then a layer of cream, some strawberries, then repeat with the other layer of cake, cream and strawberries.
Place another layer of cream around the cake so that when you place the Chiquiador Mamá Lycha cookies on top, they will stick to the cake.
Finally, place more strawberries in the center for decoration and tie a ribbon around the cake.
The ribbon is used to hold the shape of the cake with the cookies around it.
