Mama Lycha Plantain Leaves
4 Cups Mama Lycha Corn Flour
2 Cups Of Lard
2 cups chicken broth
2 Tablespoons Chicken Bouillon Flavor Powder
Chicken stew to taste
Salt to Taste
Aluminum Foil Sheets
Soften the lard by running it through a blender for 10 minutes, then add the corn flour, chicken flavor bouillon powder and chicken broth.
Mix all the ingredients well for 5 minutes or until you have a homogeneous dough.
Take the plantain leaves and put some of the tamale dough on them along with some of the previously cooked chicken stew. Fold the plantain leaves to seal.
Cover the tamales with the aluminum foil and place them in the steamer for 1 hour.
heat the plantain leaves directly on the fire for a few seconds to soften them and cut them into squares to make it easier to assemble the tamales.
