- 1 package of Mama Lycha corn tamales
- 1 cup Mama Lycha Mexican Sour cream
- ½ cup yellow corn kernels, cooked
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ white onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 poblano peppers
- 1 tablespoon chicken broth
- Heat the corn tamales in a large skillet.
- In a saucepan, heat the oil and fry the onion and chopped garlic until soft and transparent in texture.
- Add the chopped chiles, chicken broth and corn kernels to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat and stir constantly.
- Lower the heat to the minimum, add the Mexican sour cream and cook for 5 more minutes.
Corn tamales don't need extra salt or cooking, you just need to heat them enough so that when mixed with the other ingredients they are well-impregnated with the other flavors.
